We (4) all ordered different meals- burgers, seafood egg rolls, Cuban egg rolls, shrimp cocktail. We were all happy with our meals and satisfied. It is a small place, rustic and has whimsy decorations. Reasonably priced.
Food is incredible no matter what you order. Prices are great and affordable. And even the inside dining has a rustic vibe to it. Love coming here for lunch! Highly recommended!
Don’t judge a book by its cover. Rustic, shanty like eatery near Swing Bridge Park with limited seating inside, counter ordering and a large outdoor patio with picnic tables and umbrellas. Simple menu offers the likes of burgers and sandwiches, plates and Porch favorites with their ever famous line of egg rolls. We decided on the Lasagna egg rolls and Chicken Bog egg rolls. To say we were impressed would be understatement. Both came piping hot, larger than the average egg roll and stuffed with flavor and ingredients. The first was the Lasagna egg rolls with the usual combination of pasta sauce, meat, cheese and noodles rolled up in two tortillas and deep fried to perfection. Marinara sauce came on the side and for an extra cost I also got the Parmesan fries. Second, Chicken Bog egg rolls. Again, two tortillas nicely stuffed with seasoned rice, chicken and sausage and once again fried to a crispy texture. On the side was a cup of sweet chili mayo bringing a heated kick to the table. Food was phenomenal, prices likable and service friendly. We will certainly come again.
Tried the restaurant after driving by for years now. Check the hours online because the hours are unique here. We had pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken, fries and slaw. Everything was top notch... The BBQ sauce was great, the chicken was juicy, and the sandwich had a nice smoky taste. The slaw was especially interesting since it had a bit of a kick to it. Serve your own sodas and sweet tea for less than 2. There are a few tables inside and more tables located outside on the porch. Same price for credit card here which I like. The prices are very reasonable and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
Me and the wife go in all the time, amazing food, great prices , newly resigned outside looks incredible, can't wait to eat at the porch on the porch this summer! Egg rolls always amazing, and the best fries you'll find around! Always made to order! Try the banana pudding too, amazing! See y'all soon!
Cool little spot with outdoor and indoor dining. Creative menu includes a variety of Mac and cheese stuffed flour tortilla egg rolls. We tried the Buffalo Chicken and the Uncle Ernie egg roll. Yum!
